Logo Design - Solar Energy Company

Key concepts to capture with the logo:
-A transition from oil to solar
-The harmony of solar and oil in one site
The client brief for their logo was centered around the activity they do as a business. The business converts unprofitable oil well land, into solar producing property.
This second round was done after the client chose a text based logo from the initial concepts, see "client work" album on my profile.
The text based logo worked well with the specific activity the business does, as opposed to a more subjective pictograph logo. The arrow that separates the two words was chosen as a good representation of the transition that the company does from a oil site to a solar site. However some more ideas that do not use the arrow were also requested. The gradient underlines are also used to represent transition.
