My goal is to functionally and emotionally enhance product experiences for others, using appropriate design practice and stimulating teamwork.
Training in industrial design guides me toward this goal. Fundamentally, Industrial design skills help me to ask critical questions and think objectively about creative projects. I have come to understand best practices for generating and evaluating ideas regarding answers to complex problems, then to communicate those answers effectively. My communication skills come in both visual and verbal forms. Visual forms include rapid and clear sketching, quality rendering, accurate 3d modeling, and clear presentations. Verbal forms include active listening, objective based and cordial discussion, verbal presentations, and open-minded questioning.
Experience in the design process allows me to develop designs that are: on target for project needs, beneficial to user experience goals, and usable by team members and industry partners without headache. I wish to supplement your development pipeline by connecting well to people and their objectives, whether they be up or down-stream of my work.
